Adds PayPal Express Checkout button to mini-cart and cart page.
Configuration
To configure the extension, first, follow the instructions as described in the official documentation. Then, fill in the API Client ID using the following instructions:
Go to My Apps & Credentials → REST API apps, now select your application or create a new one
From SANDBOX API CREDENTIALS or LIVE API CREDENTIALS copy the Client ID
In Magento 2 admin, go to Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods → Recommended Solutions → PayPal Express Checkout → Required PayPal Settings, fill in the API Client ID with value copied on a previous step
Debugging
For debugging, use the Sandbox credentials from PayPal.
Development
PayPal Express Checkout implementation is different from the default Magento 2 PayPal implementation. Specifically, this extension uses custom s_createPaypalExpressToken over the original createPaypalExpressToken GraphQl mutation.
The implementation utilizes the Smart Payment Buttons to display a payment method. It is the reason why the PayPal Client ID is required for application initialization.
