Account Creation
Creates an account for the user when they login if they do not already have an account. If the user had already created an account, creating an account again will log them into their existing account. The following features are not supported:
We do not support requiring the user to enter a password when logging in via one of the providers(asking for additional information)
Configuration
To configure the extension, first, follow the instructions as described in the official documentation. Then, fill in the API Client ID and Client Secret using the following instructions:
In Magento 2 admin, go to Stores → Configuration → MagePlaza Extensions→ Social Login and select a provider to enable, use the link provided under the Enable tab to create an app for the provider. Follow this and of the official documentation.
Copy REDIRECT URIS in the provider's dropdown and paste it into the dashboard of the provider in Authorized redirect URIs and add your storefront's address in the Authorized JavaScript origins
Debugging
For debugging, use the Sandbox credentials for your provider. You might also need to setup Ngrok.
Development
Mageplaza Social Login implementation is different from the default Mageplaza Social Login implementation. Specifically, this extension uses custom SocialTokenResolver to create an auth token and AvailableSocialLoginsResolver to return a list of enabled providers.
